Leedy Broadway Parallel 6.5" x 14 Blue & Silver Duco Snare Drum
Built in December of 1936
Overall this drum is in very good working condition. Structurally sound and free of modifications.
Steam bent solid maple shell with natural lacquered interior.
Original edges are clean and take modern heads nicely.
Hardware is all original and works well. Strainer adjusts properly and stays engaged.
Nickel shows scratches, scuffs, & signs of use/age. Some of the finish has worn off on the strainer and tension rods.
Stamped nickel over brass hoops have some cosmetic denting, dings, and scratches around the flanges.
Duco finish is holding well to the shell with obvious signs of age. Lacquer checking, scratches, and surface dings.
Original badge and grommet are firmly in place
Complete and ready to go.
