1950's Gretsch 16" Floor Tom In Midnight Blue Pearl

18" depth on this beauty.

Featuring a 3 Ply shell with thick reinforcement rings. Shell measures closer to 16 1/16"

The wrap is clean and vibrant overall. Some minimal surface wear and a minor split in the wrap that is not in danger of spreading. Holding tightly at the seam.

The hardware is in very good working condition and mostly original. Chrome over brass hoops are era correct Gretsch and in excellent condition. Clips and tension rods are new replacements. Some scuffs and scratches present on the chrome.

Original bearing edges look to be clean and even with minor ply separation. Based on the overall size of the drum the Remo Classic Fit head was the only fit I could find for this drum. They fit on snug, but the drum sounds good but has a slightly limited tuning range.
