1958 Slingerland Bop Kit In Sparkling Red Pearl
16x18 16x16 8x12
Purchased in Rochester at Bernard Augins in December 1958.
Bass stamped Oct 28 58' - 12" Nov 19 58'
3-Ply mahogany shells are excellent & feature original edges.
Original red sparkle wrap is clean and holding well at the seams.
The finish shows some signs of aging around the kit. Some minor scratches/scuffs and darker shades in the wrap.
Bass & Tom were fitted with Rogers Swivomatic hardware. No holes behind the mounts meaning these were ordered virgin.
Rogers tom arm works wonderfully and also a wide rage when positioning.
Rest of the hardware is original and in very good working condition.
Chrome shows some standard signs of age and use. Scratches, scuffs, and mild pitting.
Chrome over brass hoops on both toms.
Bass drum hoops have original paint and inlay. Paint loss on the hoops.
Kit is complete and in full working order.
