1960's Ludwig 'Super Beat' Red Sparkle Drum Kit

14x20 (Serial 1636) 16x16 (646830) 8x12 (2671)

• 12 & 20 from the early 60's - 16 is 68/69

• 3-Ply shells with original bearing edges.

• Factory white interiors on the 12 & 20. Natural maple on the 16

• Center mount was installed on the 20 at some point and later professionally filled in.

• Original wrap is in good condition. Holding well at the seams. Free of splits/cracks  

• The finish has aged nicely with a bit of fading along with some scratches & scuffs around the kit.

• Original bearing edges take modern heads nicely. 

• Hardware is all in good working condition. The base of the rail mount is original but the top half is MIJ.

• One rim on each tom and about half the tension rods are not original.

• 2 claws on the bottom of the bass drum have straight tension rods.

• Chrome has standard signs of age/use. Scratches & speckled pitting.

• Bass drum claws show some wear.

• Keystone badges with original grommets firmly in place. 

• Original wood hoops are in good shape with original inlay.
