1970's Gretsch 4160 Chrome over Brass Snare Drum  - 5 x 14 

Complete and in working order.

• Outside of a few tension rods looks to be all original.

• Some denting behind the butt and strainer along with a few ripples or minor waves in the batter bearing edge.

• Reso head snaps on which is common for these. Batter head fits on very snug, a vintage inspired head is recommended. Currently fitted with an Evans 360 G1 coated, fit on very tight, but we were able to tension the head evenly and the drum sounds good. Somewhat limited tuning range if you like your snare low, this is not the one.

• Chrome shows scratches, scuffs, pitting, and signs of age/use

• Throw off clicks into place and stays active, doesn't fall on its own.

• Replacement 42 strand snare wires.

• Nice players piece with no extra holes.
