1920's Ludwig Nickel Over Brass Snare Drum 5x14
6 Lug Model
Heavy 2-Piece brass shell with thick welded bearing edges
50's nickel over brass hoops. Ludwig piccolo strainer.
Two small holes above the stainer & two behind the butt plate.
There is some denting behind some of the lugs and strainer.
Some denting/waves on the flanges of the bearing edges as well.
Drum is in round and modern Remo heads fit on and seat properly. We are able to tension the drum evenly.
Hardware works well. Strainer locks in, hoops are great.
The nickel finish shows plenty of patina, scratches, minor cosmetic dings, and some finish loss.
Canopus wires.
Complete and ready to go.
