1941 Ludwig & Ludwig 'Super Swing' 8"x14" Snare Drum In White Avalon Pearl.
Excellent overall condition. Complete and in full working order.
Shell is stamped 4107 dating this to July 1941.
The hardware is all original and in exceptional condition. Super Ludwig strainer works very well and adjusts nicely. The throw off stays active and does not slip or disengage while playing.
The bearing edges were professionally re-done in the late 1980's. The shell is in around and heads fit on easily.
Original wrap is very clean, holding well at the seam, and free of splits & cracks. Finish shows a light but even aging around the drum along with a few surface scuffs.
Original wires are in place and adjust nicely.
