1950's WFL Barrett Deems Swingster Dance Model Snare Drum 

5.5 x14 

Overall this drum is in good used condition. Structurally sound and in working order. Shell is free of extra holes. 

The wrap is holding nicely at the seam and is free of any splits or cracks. Gentle but even fading to the finish. 

Bearing edges are clean and the drum takes modern heads. Shell interior shows some tape residue. A previous owner taped some foam to the inside of the shell. It cleaned up nicely and the interior ply is solid and intact. 

Original strainer adjusts smoothly and clicks into place well. Muffler nob is not original and needs to be replaced. Chrome over brass hoops are in round but show consistent wear. Snare will ship with a clean Ludwig batter hoop as well.

Chrome finish shows scratches & scuffs along with some pitting  Tension rods have finish loss but are in good working order. A handful of unoriginal rods. 

 Complete and ready to go.
