1953 Leedy & Ludwig Broadway 6.5"x14 Black Pearl Snare Drum
1953 Leedy 6.5" x 14" Broadway Snare Drum In Black Pearl.
Built In December 1953.
Very good working condition.
Black Pearl finish has aged nicely and is very clean. Finish shows some minor surface scratches/scuffs and even aging around the drum.
Wrap is holding well at the seam and free of any splits or pulling.
There are 3 holes behind the strainer that have been professionally filled at some point
Original bearing edges takes modern heads nicely.
Hardware is all original & in full working condition.
Nickel finish is clean with some scratches and mild pitting.
Batter hoop has some cosmetic bends and denting, but covers the collar of a head properly.
Strainer works well. Adjusts nicely and staying engaged while playing.
