1960's Ludwig Club Date In Black Diamond Pearl

Overall this kit is in good used condition. Structurally sound and fully functional, a nice vintage ludwig kit. Free of modifications and extra holes. The shells and bearing edges are original and heads fit nicely on each drum.

12" & 20" date to 1967 based on serial numbers and the 14" is date stamped 1969.

Wrap is holding nicely at the seams and is free of splits/cracks. Black Diamond has seasoned nicely on each drum and shows some even aging. Finish shows surface scratches & scuffs along with a small cigar burn on top of the bass drum. Most notable scuffs are on the 12" tom near the mount.

Hardware is all in good working order. One rim on each tom and a handful of tension rods are replacements, the rest of the hardware is original. Overall the chrome is in good used condition with standard signs of use & age. Scratches, scuffs, surface pitting. One of the floor tom leg mounts had the chrome brushed off at some point, looks clean and works well.

Structurally the drums are in good condition. Modern heads fit on nicely and the bearing edges are relatively clean. There is an area on the 12" bottom edge that has been touched up with a bit of wood filler. No splits or cracks and the drums tune up nicely. No extra holes in any of the shells..

Original white interior on the 12 & 20. Natural interior on the 14”.
