1960's Slingerland Drum Set In Blue & Silver Duco

Overall the drums are structurally sound, in round, and overall in good vintage condition. Very nice players kit.

The duco finish is original and in good condition. Scratches, scuffs, and minimal crazing is present on each drum. The 12" shows the most cosmetic wear.

12" & 22" drums feature mahogany shells with maple reinforcement rings and were built in 1963.

The 16" floor tom is date stamped 1968 and features a 3-ply shell with a maple interior. While the stamp and shell interior lead to the mid to later 60s, the overall body of the floor tom is consistent with drums built in the earlier 60's. Chrome over brass hoops, push button leg mounts, lack of a badge, and earlier style muffler.

The kit has a 50/60's Premier mounting system installed. The mount adjusts and works well, it includes the original extension bracket which allows for more adjustability.

The rest of the hardware is original to the kit. Chrome over brass hoops & original mufflers on both toms. Floor tom mounts and legs are in good working order, and so are the spurs and mounts. Spur mounts have two sets of tension screws on each mount. All work well and show no signs of stripping. Chrome shows standard signs of use & age. Scratches, scuffs, and surface pitting. Lugs on the bass drum show the most wear.

Internal mounting hardware shows oxidation. Some light moisture stains on the inside bottom of the bass drums. Shells show some typical Slingerland trademarks, minor splits & bubbling, along with some very minimal re-ring separation. Modern heads fit on nicely and the drums tune like a dream.

Very nice vintage players kit in good complete condition.
