Very nice players kit. Structurally sound with clean shells & bearing edges. Takes modern heads nicely and tunes easily.

Original red ripple finish is in very good condition. Wrap is holding tight at the seams and free of any splits/cracks. Finish shows some standard wear, most notably on the 12" tom, but overall looks good.

The kit has seen some modern upgrades. The 60's Yamaha mounting system was replaced with a 80/90's Yamaha system, leaving a couple of extra holes. The floor tom leg mounts were replaced with vintage Gretsch mounts and the original holes neatly filled. About half of the tension rods are not original. Floor tom features a die cast batter rim.

All of the hardware is in good working condition. Chrome is clean with some standard signs of use/age. Some scratches & scuffs along with some speckled surface pitting.

The kit is complete and in very good working condition. I also have the matching 13" tom available separately, it was not modified with modern mounts and we did not have the heart to alter it.
