3-ply shell with natural maple interiors. The 14/16/24 all have interior Ludwig tags that feature the same build date code. 58717. The 18" was most likely built later and has a pattern with a bit more pearl in the finish.

Overall the kit is in good used condition. Structurally sound and fully functional No extra holes.

Wrap is in clean vibrant condition. The finish shows some minor scuffs & scratches on each drum. The bass drum has an area in the right of the bass drum mount with surface dings that can be seen in the closeup photos. Wrap is original, free of splits/cracks, and looks good. Area on the back of the 18" with some bleaching in the finish and looseness at the seam. Wrap is holding well to the drum.

Hardware is in good working condition. Lugs and mounts show speckled pitting along with scratches and scuffs. All of the tension rods and rims on the toms are replacements save for the rims on the 18" which show some rust. Bass drum T's & claws are original and in good condition. The kit does not have any mufflers.

Maple shells and bearing edges are in good condition. Some of the internal mounting screws show rust and oxidation. Modern heads fit nicely on the drums. Floors take new Remo heads just a bit snug but have a nice wide tuning range.

Kit is complete and in good working order. Original Ludwig floor tom legs, spurs, and bass drum tom mount are all in good used condition
