Japanese Birch Shells

Overall the kit is in good used condition. A beautiful players kit that is complete, structurally sound, and in good working order.

Hardware all works well. The bulk of the hardware appears to be original, outside of a handful of tension rods and a couple of the tom rims. Chrome is clean overall and shows standard signs of use and age. Scratches & scuffs along with speckled surface pitting.

Mounting system works very well.

Original wrap looks good but shows some cosmetic wear. Scratches & scuffs around each of the drums. The 3 toms have minor splits in the wrap at the seam. The 16" was glued at some point and all of the seams are holding nicely.

Birch shells are in round and take modern heads nicely. The bearing edges on the toms are clean and original. The batter side edge on the bass drum has some subtle wear along with a minor ding that has wood filler. Internal scuffs around the bass drum shell. Bass drum shell is structurally solid and free of any cracks. Tunes up easily.
