Vintage 1970's Ludwig Vistalite Drum Set

Overall this kit is in very good condition. Structurally it is solid and complete. Shells are free of cracks and crazing in the acrylic.

The bearing edges are clean, seams are solid, and modern heads fit on nicely.

The acrylic is in good clean condition. The shells show surface scratches &scuff and signs of normal use & age. All cosmetic in nature, the most notable scuffs are on the top of the bass drum and shown in the closeup photos.

Hardware is all in good working order. Chrome is clean overall with the standard signs of use & age. Surface pitting, scratches/scuffs, and some minimal rust. Spurs work well. Spur brackets show some stress wear on the mounts. A handful of non-original tension rods on the toms, along with one rim on each tom being aftermarket. The muffler on the floor tom works well and is Ludwig, but is not the proper vistalite muffler.

Bass drum hoops were repainted at some point and some excess paint is present on the inlay.
